9/11 survivor and first responder, Peter Blaich, said to look into 22 Zero: Healing The Heros of 9/11 as many of the same techniques could be used for journalists suffering from PTSD, anxiety, etc. According to 22 Zero's website,
We went to the roots of the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) work and modeled a process designed for phobia cures and using what is called visual/kinesthetic dissociation, and the Tactical Resiliency Process (TRP) was born. We have several PHDs and Licensed Mental Health Counselors eager to help us with our clinical research, which is exciting. The processes are The Trauma Resiliency-Protocol (TR-P) for PTSD and acute stress and the Emotions Management Process (EMP) for negative emotions like anger, anxiety, fear, sadness and survivor’s guilt, etc.
