Haiti Earthquake

A lot of you have asked about Go Haiti-Generations of Hope, Haiti since the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti. I traveled to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake and stayed at the Generations of Hope orphanage.

Dr. Franco has reported that the facility and children are safe. They felt the quake but it was in the southwestern part of Haiti. Please pray for Haiti.

Emergency workers are racing to rescue survivors ahead of Tropical Depression Grace, which is expected to reach Haiti tonight.

To help out with recovery efforts, Samaritan's Purse is sending supplies to the country. A cargo plane flew there Sunday, filled with more than 60,000 pounds of emergency relief supplies -- including temporary shelters, medical treatment kits, and drinking water. After assessing on the ground, they plan to send a second round of supplies on Tuesday.
